Cheez-It Has a New Sweet and Salty Treat We Can’t Wait To Try

We love a good crunchy snack, and boy, do we crave a deliciously creamy milkshake. Who knew we could get both at once—or that we needed to?

Well, Cheez-It did. The popular snack brand known for its bite-sized cheesy crackers is now going where it’s never gone before, and we’re ready to try it this summer.

Deluxe Cheez-It Milkshake Available Now at the New Cheez-In Diner

Cheez-It recently launched its brand new Deluxe Milkshake this month and will be serving it for one week only through Sunday, May 26 (hours listed here), at its first-ever Cheez-In Diner in Woodstock, New York. This makes for the perfect excuse to pack your bags for a Memorial Day Weekend getaway.

The ultra-creamy vanilla milkshake is blended with Cheez-It crackers (yes, you read that right) and served with a rim of crushed Cheez-Its and sweet caramel. Everything is topped with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and sprinkles, then garnished with a chocolate-dipped Cheez-It cracker.

This is not the first time this cracker company opened a cheese-filled roadside attraction. Last summer, those around Joshua Tree in California saw the Cheez-It Stop with a “gas” pump with real Cheez-It crackers flowing from it. This time around, it’s giving fans a chance to enjoy a full Cheez-It-inspired menu inside its quirky, nostalgic diner setting, complete with a jukebox that accepts Cheez-Its instead of coins to play from its catalog of retro records.

"We saw just how far our adventure-seeking Cheez-It fans would go when they Want It. Need It. Cheez-It. last year making the drive to our Joshua Tree Cheez-It Stop outpost," Cara Tragseiler, Senior Brand Director for Cheez-It, said in a press release. "So many fans have been suggesting where we should bring the Cheez-It fun next, and we knew we needed to go the extra mile—literally—to do it again. That's why this year we headed East, packing this one-of-a-kind roadside experience with even more ways to enjoy our iconic crackers, solidifying our spot as fans' go-to snack nationwide."

Some of the other menu items include the Extra Cheezburger, a pimento Cheez-It smash burger topped with an Extra Big Cheez-It cracker, Cheez-It Fries that are tossed in ground Cheez-Its, and Mac & Cheez-It that is baked to perfection in a White Cheddar Cheez-It sauce with a crunchy crumble on top made of, you guessed it, White Cheddar Cheez-Its. There are also Cheezy Chicky Tendies, which take a page from our book on breading chicken with cheesy crackers. And if you need another dessert option to go with your milkshake, there's even a Sweet-N-Salty Cheezcake—because, why not?
