Scouts from Cub Scout Pack 2, Nyack Valley Cottage, play in the new playground on April 27. The pack helped to build during the 4th annual Arbor Day celebration at River Hook: the Hester Haring Cason Preserve in Upper Nyack. The house and grounds are undergoing a major renovation including a paved walking path in the woods near Hook Mountain.

Olivia Lionetti leads the All Together Now Chorus in vocal warmups during a rehearsal April 22 at the Old Stone Meeting House in Upper Nyack. The building is the oldest surviving place of worship in Rockland County. It was built in 1813 as the Methodist-Episcopal Church in Nyack.
