Thanksgiving is all about family, food and friends, and if you're looking for a chance to enjoy a meal as a community or at home, check out these holiday meals happening around the county.
Shelby Mission Camp
Shelby Mission Camp is offering meal deliveries on Thanksgiving Day.
Meal deliveries will take place between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Thursday.
If people want to help deliver food or sign up for a meal, they can call Robbie Alexander at 704-472-0104 by Tuesday.
Alexander said they will be preparing plates and will deliver the meals between 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Feeding Kids Cleveland County 2023 Community Table Thanksgiving Meal
The Community Table Thanksgiving Meal is a community effort by Feeding Kids Cleveland County, Faith Harvest Church and Shelby Presbyterian Church to bring all areas of the community together in unity for a shared meal and fellowship.
The meal will take place simultaneously in six locations around the county at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22:
Jefferson Park (822 Jefferson St., Shelby)
Hope Community Church (1114 S. Lafayette St, Shelby)
Holly Oak Park (809 Holly Oak Road, Shelby)
YMCA Walking Track (211 N. Cleveland Ave., Kings Mountain)
Macedonia Missionary Baptist (235 A W Black St., Cherryville)
Piedmont Community Park (117 Piedmont Dr., Lawndale)
