Check out some of the records broken Saturday at the Drake Relays
Despite inclement weather lingering in the area, the Drake Relays still pushed on Saturday afternoon at the Blue Oval.
Rain postponed Friday night's events to Saturday and was a threat in the forecast all day in Des Moines, eventually halting action just after 4 p.m. (CT). Still, records and milestones piled up nonetheless.
Here's a rundown of some of the records set Saturday inside Drake Stadium.
Notre Dame women's distance medley relay team
The winning quartet of Siona Chisolm, Kate McAndrew, Gretchen Farley and Olivia Markezich set a collegiate record in the 4x1600 relay, winning it in 18:44.15.

Annie Rodenfels, Team B.A.A.
The pro runner set a new Drake Relays record in the 3000m steeplechase, winning the event in 9:31.03.

Bradley men's distance medley relay team
The winning quartet of Max Dieterich, Will Smith, Jaxson Copelin and Jack Crull set a new school record in the men's distance medley, winning it with a time of 9:43.65.

Reese Brownlee, Clear Lake track-and-field
Brownlee picked up her second Drake Relays flag of the weekend Saturday, setting a school record with a winning time of 1:00.75 in the 400 girls hurdles.

Ankeny boys 4x800 relay team
The winning quartet of Nicholas Robie, Ike Smith, Jake Bosch and Ethan Zuber set a Drake Relays record in the boys 4x800 with a winning time of 7:39.54. That Drake Relays records had previously stood since 1985.

Pleasant Valley girls 4x800 relay team
The winning quartet of Ani Wedemeyer, Aerielle Johnson, Kaylee Mowen, and Grace Boleyn set a new school and Drake Relays record with the win in the 4x800 relay (9:01.47). That mark is also No. 1 all-time in Iowa high school history.

Cedar Falls boys shuttle hurdle relay team
The Tigers' winning quartet set a Drake Relays and school record in the shuttle hurdle relay.

Kentucky men's 4x100 relay team
The Wildcats swept the men's and women's 4x100 relay races, with the former setting a Drake Relays record in the event (38.66).

The professional runner set a Drake Relays records with a winning time of 3:36.44 in the World Athletics Continental Tour 1500.
