Check out the 4-H camps available for Coshocton County children

COSHOCTON − Coshocton County 4-H has opportunities for youth to learn, make connections and have fun this summer.

Cloverbud Day Camp is for youth finishing kindergarten through those finishing second grade. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 8 at Lake Park, 23253 Ohio 83. The theme is Going on an Olympic Adventure. Participants will make crafts, play games and go swimming. Cost is free and includes lunch and snack. Registration is due to the Ohio State University Extension Office of Coshocton County by May 31. The Coshocton County Youth Financial Support Committee is sponsoring the program.

4-H Junior Camp is July 5 to 9 at 4-H Camp Ohio, 11461 Camp Ohio Road, Saint Louisville. Junior Camp is an overnight camp for youth who are finishing third grade through those finishing seventh grade. Daily schedules for campers include a variety of citizenship and teamwork activities, flags, daily sessions, meals, games and campfires. This year’s theme is The Mystery Awaits. Daytime sessions feature a variety of new camp experiences like swimming, crafts, nature, shooting sports, canoeing/kayaking, life studies, ziplining/rock wall climbing, fishing and more. Cost for Junior Camp is $135 for all campers, reduced due to a donation from the Coshocton County Youth Financial Support Committee. A $25 sibling discount is also available. Registration deadline is June 7.
