The Texas high school boys basketball season gets started this week as teams gear up for the next four to five months.

Mansfield Timberview reached the 5A state championship game last season while Argyle, Arlington Martin and Brock made it to the regional finals. North Crowley also played in the 6A Region 1 tournament.
