Searching for something fun? Maybe a date night? Enjoy authentic Tex-Mex food while sipping on a margarita and enjoy acoustic rock-n-roll duo Lyrical Valor, featuring Kady McClure and William Maranto.

Christopher Gates

Christopher Gates is a singer/songwriter from Natchitoches who plays a mix of country, classic and southern rock, Americana, and ‘90s/’00s alternative music. He’ll be playing on the patio at The Market Restaurant in south Shreveport.

When: 6:30 pm-9 pm Friday, May 3. The Market Restaurant, 10539 Norris Ferry Road, Shreveport.

Tipsey the Band

Kickoff of summer and get wet and wild with Tipsey the Band at DARE Day Pool. Tipsey is a 10-piece band playing everything from the ‘70s to today.

DJ Shorty

Aka Fernando Velasquez, DJ Shorty keeps the beats grooving ranging from Norteño and regional Mexican to pop Latin, reggaeton and even urban hip-hop/Latin mixes. DJ Shorty performs weekly on Fridays at Uptown Lounge, which features VIP sections and specials.

Looking to rock out with some country tunes? Check out The Clay Logan Band, featuring lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Clay Logan, along with Justin Bray, Chris Tho and Bruce Nock. Influences include George Strait, Garth Brooks, Merle Haggard and Hank Williams, Jr. They’ll be performing Saturday during the annual Craw Derby.
