How Chase Stokes Celebrated Valentine's Day With Kelsea Ballerini From 4,873 Miles Away
Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes kept their romance alive from a distance!
On Wednesday, the "Rolling Up the Welcome Mat" singer shared how her man managed to make her Valentine's Day special -- from over 4,000 miles away.
On her Instagram Story, Ballerini revealed how Stokes arranged "a cute little date" for her.
Along with a camera pan of the dinner spread, the "Blindsided" singer posted a picture of the note she received from the Outer Banks actor.
"Hi Honey, I'm really sorry we couldn’t be together this Valentine’s Day, but even when we are 4,837 miles away…I still wanted this day to feel special. I love you my forever valentine," Stokes' note read.
Ballerini captioned the slide, "this man is across the world and still set up a cute lil date 🥹."
The pair also took to their respective Instagram Stories to share tributes.
For her part, the "Peter Pan" songstress shared a video of her standing on a rainy balcony, before Stokes runs into the frame, lifts her up and they kiss.
"Love day every day @hichasestokes," she wrote.
On his Instagram Stories, Stokes shared a picture of Ballerini's silhouette from a photo taken on a boat.
"Happy Valentine's Day my favorite human," he wrote on the slide.
Earlier this week, ET spoke with Ballerini, who shared that she and Stokes already knew they wouldn't be spending Valentine's Day together, due to work commitments that saw her in New York City and him on location for Outer Banks.
"I'm working, sweet man is working. We are across the world from each other," she told ET at the Michael Kors fashion show.
The "Hole in the Bottle" singer said that she didn't mind, as she and Stokes both have careers that "feed their souls" and would find a way to connect during the holiday.
"It's so nice to have a career that we both love, so whenever we're not together, we're still feeding that love tank," she said, adding that their plan is to have a sweet and romantic "FaceTime date."
Ballerini, 30, and Stokes, 31, began their romance in 2022. Last month, the pair took to social media to celebrate their 1-year anniversary.
"a whole trip around the sun with my bestie. @hichasestokes thanks for making me write love songs. 🤍," Ballerini wrote on Instagram.
"One year of lovin you ❤️ p.s. told ya I wouldn’t embarrass you 🥰," Stokes shared in a separate post.
