Charlotte Crosby confirms Geordie Shore return with a twist
Charlotte Crosby has confirmed an Australian spin-off of hit MTV show Geordie Shore is on the way.
Sharing the news on Instagram, the reality star posted a series of images and videos of herself on location in Cairns, Australia, where she had been staying with fiancé Jake Ankers and daughter Alba-Jean.
"The secrets out! And I am absolutely DIZZY with POWER," she began, revealing the new show would be called Aussie Shore and air on Paramount+.
"It's felt soooooo nostalgic being here for the beginning of what I know is gunna be a HUGE Shore adventure!!!! Watching these guys enter the house gave me all the feels! I know how they all feel! I know the nerves the excitement!"

She added: "If you guys thought Geordie shore was wild…….YOUVE SEEN NOTHING YET."
The reality star went on to explain that she will be in charge of new participants as the "Aussie version of Anna [Parkin]."
Anna appeared on every season of Geordie Shore as "boss of the Geordies", a role which saw her keep the unruly housemates in line and explain why they were going places.
Charlotte was part of the original Geordie Shore cast, joining the Newcastle-based show back in 2011 alongside fellow original cast members Holly Hagan, Gaz Beadle and Vicky Pattison. She left the show in 2016, later returning for Geordie Shore: The Reunion Series in 2022.

Speaking further about the project during an episode of the Kyle and Jackie O KIIS radio show, Charlotte explained that she had been working with a "wild" cast of Australians in their 20s, joking that she was "scared for Australia."
"The last week of my life, I've never experienced craziness like it. We're filming Aussie Shore," she explained.
"The new generation are wild, they have grown up on reality TV. They are pushing boundaries you didn't even know these boundaries existed – I'm scared for Australia."
