Tennessee took down Auburn in Knoxville on Wednesday with a stirring performance from Dalton Knecht (39 points). It’s likely the Vols will need Knecht and the rest of the team’s top scorers against high-powered Alabama IN Tuscaloosa.

The Vols cannot take anything for granted yet in the SEC regular season title race; Tennessee faces the other three teams among the current top four seeds in the SEC over the next eight days to wrap up the regular season.

The Crimson Tide (20-8, 12-3 SEC) scored 64 points in the second half of Saturday’s comeback win at Ole Miss. Mark Sears, an All-SEC candidate, had 26 points.
