Tennessee baseball plays another elimination game Friday in the SEC Tournament.

The Vols (47-11) are the No. 1 seed in the tournament but will need to advance through the loser's bracket to make it to Saturday's semifinal game and a rematch with Vanderbilt.

However, Tennessee will need to get past No. 5 seed Mississippi State (38-20). The Bulldogs lost 4-3 to No. 8 seed Vanderbilt late Thursday.

Tennessee began the week in Hoover, Alabama, in the double-elimination portion of the bracket. A loss Wednesday to Vanderbilt created some additional obstacles. The Vols held off No. 4 seed Texas A&M 7-4 on Thursday to stay alive.
