Super Bowl 2024 is finally within range.
The Kansas City Chiefs face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday in Las Vegas in differing stages heading into the rematch of Super Bowl 54 in 2020.
The Chiefs can earn their third Super Bowl in five seasons with a win on Sunday. Kansas City has made the Super Bowl in four of five seasons, with Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones and Andy Reid making up the veteran core. It's a legacy game for the Chiefs, who can start saying the D word with a win — Dynasty.
San Francisco last made the Super Bowl in 2020, losing to the Chiefs. The 49ers' young core has become more experienced, but with Christian McCaffrey and Brock Purdy added in to make the offense more dynamic. A win Sunday would be the first for coach Kyle Shanahan and for one of the best teams in football for the last several seasons.

Jim Nantz and Tony Romo will call the game from the booth at Allegiant Stadium, with Tracy Wolfson and Evan Washburn reporting from the sidelines. Jay Feely will chime in with kicking-related analysis, while Gene Steratore is the rules analyst.
Streaming options for the game include Paramount+, CBS's subscription streaming service, and FUBO, which offers a free trial to potential subscribers.
Nickelodeon will simulcast the game with its own broadcast, using SpongeBob SquarePants characters among others to describe the action similar to the wild card and Christmas Day broadcasts of previous seasons on Nick.
