What channel is Michigan basketball vs Illinois today? Time, streaming info for Wolverines-Fighting Illini

To say it's been a roller-coaster of a season for Michigan basketball in the Big Ten is an understatement.

As recent as last week, it looked as if Juwan Howard's squad (8-16, 3-10 Big Ten) had flipped a page in their season after securing a ranked win against Wisconsin. But then came its 11th loss in a 13 game stretch, a 20-point loss to Nebraska in Lincoln.

The Wolverines will have another chance at attempting to right its season and help its 14th place seeding in the Big Ten, Tuesday night against Illinois at State Farm Center in Champagne. Illinois is ranked No. 14 in this week's USA Today Coaches Poll.

It's the final matchup in the regular season series between both squads, with Brad Underwood's Illini winning the first 88-73 in Ann Harbor. In the loss, Michigan sophomore forward Tarris Reed has a career-high 20 points.

The No. 14 ranked Fighting Illini (17-6, 8-4 Big Ten) have won seven of their last 11 games since the start of January, putting them in second place of the Big Ten conference. Underwood's squad is coming off a 88-80 loss to Michigan State over the weekend in East Lansing.

Illinois leads the all-time series 94-85 and have won each of the last seven games against Michigan.
