For the first time this season, LSU baseball is looking to win back-to-back Southeastern Conference series as it takes on Auburn this weekend at Alex Box Stadium.

The Tigers (26-16, 5-13 SEC) went on the road last week and took two games out of three at Missouri for their first SEC series victory in 2024. LSU had previously lost its five conference series, a streak that the baseball program hadn't experienced since 1977.

Entering the three-game set with Auburn (20-20, 2-16 SEC), LSU has won three of its last four games.

Auburn has the worst league record and has been putrid away from home with a 1-9 road record.

Cooper McMurray leads Auburn's offense, hitting .350 with 12 home runs, 49 RBIs and 33 runs scored. On the mound, starter Chase Allsup paves the way for a struggling staff. He has an 6.85 ERA.
