What channel is Louisville vs. Ole Miss women's basketball on today? Time, TV schedule

The inaugural ACC/SEC Challenge will be "sweet" for Louisville.

The No. 22 Cardinals (6-1) are set to take on Ole Miss at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday. It will be the second meeting between the teams after U of L downed the Rebels, 72-62, in the Sweet 16 to advance to its fifth consecutive Elite Eight appearance.

Forward Olivia Cochran, one of the team’s few experienced returners, neared double-double territory with 10 points and six rebounds. Reserve guard Merissah Russell contributed eight points and four rebounds.

This season, Louisville has a completely different team and enters after winning the Van Chancellor Classic with a 2-1 record.

"We've gradually gotten better. I think we're understanding more of the urgency that you have to play with, night in and night out," Cardinals coach Jeff Walz said. "We've got a lot of great players that we've been able to get out of the portal who are very talented, but now they're starting to understand what it means night in and night out to get someone's best and the expectations that come along with that."

Ole Miss (6-1) is on a five-game winning streak after beating Little Rock, 58-45, on Saturday.
