What channel is Duke vs. Missouri softball on today? Time, TV schedule for NCAA Tournament game

Duke softball is one step closer to reaching the Women's College World Series for the first time in program history.

But to get to Oklahoma City, the No. 10 seeded Blue Devils (50-6 overall, 20-4 in ACC play) will have to go through No. 7 Missouri in the Columbia Super Regional of the NCAA Softball Tournament, which opens up play Friday, May 24 at 2 p.m. ET at Mizzou Softball Stadium in Columbia, Missouri.

The Blue Devils advanced to their third straight super regionals by winning the Durham Regional last weekend. After opening the regional with a 6-1 win over Morgan State, Duke defeated South Carolina twice in a 24-hour span by scores of 8-0 and 10-1 to advance to the next round. The Blue Devils pitching staff of Cassidy Curd, Jala Wright and Lillie Walker only gave up two runs in the Durham Regional while striking out 26 hitters in the three combined games.

As for the Tigers, who were playing on their home turf, they had to play their way out of the elimination bracket in the Columbia Regional after dropping their opener to Omaha. Missouri capped off four wins in two days on Sunday with a rematch with Mavericks in the regional championship game, beating Omaha 5-1 and then 1-0.

Neither Duke nor Missouri have faced each other before, marking Friday's contest the first showdown between both programs. Note, Duke's softball program has only been around since 2018.

Meanwhile, Duke looks to rewrite its past in this round of the postseason and advance to Devon Park and the WCWS for the first time in program history. The Blue Devils have fallen to Stanford and UCLA in the round in the last two years.
