Here’s your chance to see Dallas Cowboys’ Super Bowl XII trophy & other rare memorabilia

Dallas Cowboys fans can catch a glimpse at some of the team’s rarest archives, including a Roger Staubach signed football.

The silver and blue had their first preseason game over the weekend, where the Cowboys lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars, 28-23. The Cowboys first regular season game is just under a month away against the New York Giants on Sept. 10.

To celebrate the new season, the Cowboys pro shop collections is going on tour. This Saturday, the roadshow is stopping at Town East Mall in Mesquite from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

One of the rare or never-before-seen items at Saturday’s event is a replica of the team’s Super Bowl XII trophy from the 1977-78 season. Another item is a souvenir magazine issue from the 1978 Super Bowl win.

Fans will also be able to pick up free customizable hat patches and watch the unveiling of original team art. The first 100 visitors will receive a free gift with purchase.
