This Central Jersey-based chain was named the best gas station for food

Even if you're on the run, you don't have to settle for sub-par food if you make at a stop at one Central Jersey-based convenience chain.

QuickChek, which is based in Whitehouse Station, was named as one of the top 10 best gas stations for food, according to USA TODAY.

QuickChek earned the accolade through USA TODAY's 10Best Readers' Choice Travel Awards. Named No. 7 this year, it was the second year in a row that the chain earned a top-10 spot.

QuickChek offers made-to-order subs and sandwiches, a large selection of specialty coffee flavors and sweeteners, fruit smoothies, iced and frozen energy drinks and more.

Recently, QuickChek integrated the hot honey food trend into its sub sandwiches, as well as new items such as hot honey biscuits topped with ham, egg and cheese, and "Honey-Kissed" oatmilk lattes.

QuickChek operates 154 stores, including 104 locations with fuel across New Jersey and New York.
