It's so much fun to see how many people love their pets. From sharing silly videos to telling sweet stories, there are countless ways pet owners share their adoration for their four-legged friends. Some dog and cat owners even dress up their pets and bring them with them to work--it's all about creating the life that works best for you!

Unsurprisingly, pets have become like the new children for young adults. Whether they're waiting to have children, choosing not to have kids, or already have a packed house, adopting a dog or cat can provide just as much love and fun with a lot less responsibility. Besides, there are so many ways pets are like humans!

Whether it's a dog who wants to be carried like a child or a cat who whines like a cranky toddler when they don't get their way, parents and pet parents can certainly relate in many scenarios. For the owner of Munchkin cats Stevie and Nonna, though, it's the way they talk that sounds so human-like.

OMG! Did you hear that? It sounded like Nonna was saying 'hello,' but it was even spookier when her sister Stevie actually showed up afterward. Whether she understood what the other cat's meow meant, she didn't say, but there's no question she came running in when she heard her feline sister's voice. These Munchkin cats are too sweet!

Oddly enough, Stevie wasn't the only one to react to Nonna's little speech. Several commenters mentioned how their own pet cats curiously approached the computer when they heard her say hello, and I'll admit--even my Siberian Husky lifted his head and tried to find who was making that noise.

Whatever it is that makes this sound so popular among cats, no one is questioning it. I, too, am sitting back with the popcorn, reading commenters' tales about wild and yowling cats, even though these dignified sisters are anything but.

What are Munchkin Cats?

Both Stevie and Nonna belong to the Munchkin cat breed, which can come in almost any coat color. Munchkin cats are known for their short, stumpy legs and affectionate personalities, though these cats--Nonna and Stevie--are known for their loud meowing as well. It really does sound like they're saying hello!

True to their name, Munchkin cats are typically smaller than your average kitty. With their shorter legs, thinner bodies, and lightweight fur, they weigh less than 10 pounds fully grown. However, their small size isn't the only feature about them that makes them so popular. These kitties make excellent pets for families and kids, and their easygoing nature is always a crowd-pleaser.
