Catherine Zeta-Jones' Lookalike Daughter Carys Steps Out in Her Mom's Archival Pink Lace Gown For 21st Birthday

Carys Douglas is following right along in her mother's fabulous footsteps!

The daughter of Catherine Zeta-Jones and her longtime husband Michael Douglas rang in her 21st birthday over the weekend, and she had the perfect outfit from her mom's fashion archives to celebrate the occasion.

In new photos of her birthday festivities shared to Instagram, Carys could be seen sporting an elegant pink satin and lace dress, which some fans immediately noticed looked quite familiar.

The stunning blush pink garment, adorned with white lace and intricate floral details, was in fact a previous look of Carys' famous mom's. Catherine, 54, famously wore the exact same dress back in 1999 while attending the MTV Movie Awards that year.

"Your mother's dress this [is] sweet" one of Carys' followers commented on the pics of the newly-minted 21-year-old rocking her mom's archival look.

"Another generation of Douglas royalty," another commenter wrote.

In more photos from her birthday festivities, Carys could be seen blowing out her birthday cake candles and gathering with several friends and family members who helped her ring in the milestone birthday.

"The most perfect 21st I could ask for ! 🌸" she captioned her Instagram post.

Carys' post elicited an avalanche of birthday wishes, plus a kind message from her mom, who wrote in the comments, "You deserve it sweetheart ❤️."

The Chicago star also shared an Instagram tribute in honor of Carys' big day on Saturday, April 20, sharing several photos from when her daughter was just a little girl.

"Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter @carys.douglas You are the joy of my life," she wrote in her Instagram caption. "21 years of watching you blossom in to the most incredible woman you are today is a God given gift that I never take for granted and cherish every day of my life."

"Thank you for being you. I love you with all my heart," she concluded the post, before signing off, "Mama."

Carys is the only daughter of Catherine and Michael, who have been married since 2000. The spouses are also parents to son Dylan, 23, plus Michael's first-born son Cameron, 45, whom he shares with first wife Diandra Luker.
