Catherine O'Hara is set to reprise her role from The Nightmare Before Christmas for an upcoming concert.

The classic Halloween animated movie is marking 30 years since its release, with three special concerts at the Hollywood Bowl taking place between October 27 and 29.

It has now been confirmed that O'Hara will perform her role of Sally from the original movie for the final evening, alternating with singer Halsey for the other nights, and will perform opposite fellow original star Danny Elfman (who will sing as Jack Skellington for all the performances).

Also involved in the concerts are Fred Armisen, who will play Lock, Riki Lindhome (playing Shock), and Ken Page (who returns to the role of Oogie Boogie).

O'Hara has reprised her character for Nightmare Before Christmas concerts in the past, most recently for a performance at Wembley in December 2019.

The actress will soon be seen in Netflix movie Pain Hustlers alongside Chris Evans and Emily Blunt, and recently lent her voice talents to Pixar's Elemental.

O'Hara has been perhaps best known in recent years for playing Moira Rose in sitcom Schitt's Creek, which came to an end in 2020.

A few years ago, O'Hara's Schitt's Creek co-star Dan Levy praised her ability to play drunk, telling Variety: "Nobody plays drunk better than Catherine O'Hara. Nobody.

"There is not a single human actor on the planet that can play drunk with the level of complexity, struggle, nuance that Catherine… I mean, and we've asked her time and time again to share the secret of it, and she was like, 'It's just a matter of not wanting to be drunk.'"
