It seems that everyone wanted to celebrate Star Wars day. Even a Norwegian Forest Cat on the internet who was caught twinning with her favorite citizen from a galaxy far, far away.

Mei has a real knack for standing on her hind legs. She does it all the time! But on May 4 (aka, Star Wars day) she used her super power in a hilarious new video.

Resting on her back legs, the video shows Norwegian Forest Cat Mei standing beside a well-known character from the Star Wars universe — Baby Yoda. You know, the pint-sized alien of the same species as Regular Yoda? While not the same character, Baby Yoda really won people over. So much so that Mei decided to "twin" with a doll her mama had in honor of the special. And it was so darn cute.

"Mei the 4th be with you!" the cat's owner joked in the caption, referring to the catchphrase which has since inspired May 4 to be recognized as a holiday for fans and Star Wars enthusiasts alike.

People online were pretty much obsessed. "Hahaha I can't," wrote one person. "Cutest cat ever!" someone else cheered. "That's great," a third commenter added. "Love it," one person praised.

Star Wars Pet Names

If you're a huge fan of the movies, it sort of makes sense that you'd want to cement your fandom with a super cool Star Wars pet name. Some mega-fans on Reddit shared their favorite (and creative!) ideas and TBH, most of them are pretty darn cool.

One commenter suggested the name Boba Catt — which is very clever. Another person had an alternative for a dog name: Jabba the Mutt. So good.

Other commenters chimed in with other Star Wars names that work no matter what kind of pet you have; like Chewy, Boba, Yoda, Ben, Obi, Sheev, or Luke.

One person had a really fun take on another Star Wars character — Pawdme Amidogma.

There are actually a lot of really great punny names. Like Bark Vader, or Luke Dogwalker. What about Boba Fetch? You could also name your cat or dog names like R2, Leia, Hans, Solo, or Lando.

We could just imagine being at the dog park and calling for our puppy — Tatooine. Or cuddling on the couch with our kitty, Darth Meow.

You gotta keep it interesting! And if you're really a fan, a Star Wars pet name is an excellent way to feel the spirit of the films in your everyday life.
