Cast your vote for the Cheboygan Daily Tribune Athlete of the Week for March 4-9

CHEBOYGAN – It’s time to vote for the Cheboygan Daily Tribune’s Athlete of the Week.

Each week, Cheboygan area high school athletes will be eligible for the Athlete of the Week honor. Athlete of the Week polls go live on Tuesday morning and voting closes at 11 p.m. on Thursday night. The athlete of the week will be announced on Friday. This will be the final Athlete of the Week poll for the winter sports season.

Here’s a look at this week’s nominees:

Jaelyn Wheelock, Cheboygan Girls Basketball – Scored nine points in a district victory over Kalkaska.

Molly Monthei, Inland Lakes Girls Basketball – Netted seven crucial fourth-quarter points in a district semifinal win over Burt Lake NMCA.

Jersey Beauchamp, Mackinaw City Girls Basketball – Finished with 11 points, 10 rebounds and six assists in a district semifinal victory over Harbor Light.

Charlotte Box, Onaway Girls Basketball – Scored a game-high 25 points in a district win over Alanson.

Jadin Mix, Onaway Boys Basketball– Poured in a career-high 38 points in a regional semifinal clash against St. Ignace.

Shanna Ferraiuolo, Burt Lake NMCA Girls Basketball – Led the Eagles with 17 points in a district semifinal against Inland Lakes.
