Cast your vote for the Cheboygan Daily Tribune Athlete of the Week for April 15-20

CHEBOYGAN – It’s time to vote for the Cheboygan Daily Tribune’s Athlete of the Week.

Each week, Cheboygan area high school athletes will be eligible for the Athlete of the Week honor. Athlete of the Week polls go live on Tuesday morning and voting closes at 11 p.m. on Thursday night. The athlete of the week will be announced on Friday. This will be the final Athlete of the Week poll for the winter sports season.

Here’s a look at this week’s nominees:

Elise Markham, Cheboygan Girls Soccer – Scored four goals in a win over Big Rapids Crossroads.

Jersey Beauchamp, Mackinaw City Softball – Recorded a double, two singles, three RBIs and four runs scored in a win over Brimley.

Aidan Fenstermaker, Inland Lakes Baseball – Finished with three hits, four RBIs and three runs scored in a win over JoBurg.

Xavier Santiago, Onaway Track and Field – Broke his own school record with a 6-8 ½ jump in the high jump during a meet at Bellaire.

Lanie Irwin, Pellston Softball – Recorded three singles in a victory over Gaylord St. Mary.
