Carson Daly Says "Sleep Divorce" Has Majorly Helped His Marriage

Another celebrity is out here opening up about sleep divorce, so if you've been flirting with the idea...you're in good company! Before we get into it, if you're wondering WTF "sleep divorce" is, basically it's what happens when a couple make the mutual decision to sleep separately. And Carson Daly is a fan.

Speaking to People, The Voice host said that he and his wife Siri Pinter sleep in different beds and “both secretly love it.”

"The object is to stay together," he explained. "That's what we'd like to do. And so reverse engineering that, it's like—by any means necessary, for the two of us, [we want to] still be in a relationship when we're dying."

Carson added that "sleep divorce" has been super helpful to their relationship, saying “It's been good for us. We don't do it all the time, but a couple of days during the week—especially if I want to watch an Islanders hockey game kind of later at night—I go into the guest room, she retires upstairs to read her book or watch a show.”

Carson and Siri have been sleep divorced since 2019, and he isn't the only celeb who's a fan. Cameron Diaz opened up about how she and her husband Benji Madden don't sleep together, saying “We should normalize separate bedrooms. To me, I would literally, I have my house, you have yours. We have the family house in the middle. I will go and sleep in my room. You go sleep in your room. I’m fine. And we have the bedroom in the middle that we can convene in for our relations.”
