Cardington, River Valley earn highest seeds in the area for the sectional softball tourney

Cardington and River Valley were the highest seeded area team's during Sunday's Central District softball tournament draw. Cardington is the No. 2 seed in Division III, while RV is No. 3 in Division II. The sectional tournament kicks off next week. Here is the complete schedule for Marion-area softball teams in the postseason:

Division I

● No. 41 seed Marion Harding at No. 26 Hilliard Darby, Tuesday, May 7, 5 p.m. Winner at No. 11 Olentangy Liberty, Thursday, May 9, 5 p.m.
