The 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris are going to be lit — just ask Cardi B and Sha'Carri Richardson!

In a new promotional video for NBC promoting the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, the American track star, 24, and rapper, 31, bond over their excitement for the upcoming event while indulging in one of their favorite self-care activities — manicures.

The duo met for the first time to film the segment, airing May 4 during NBC's broadcast of the Kentucky Derby, and the "Up" rapper asked the Olympic hopeful questions that non-athletes want to know about what it takes to qualify to be on the world's biggest stage in sports.

"A 9-to-5 in corporate is my 9-to-5 on the track working out," Richardson told Cari B when asked to explain her training schedule, explaining that she trains five days per week, with two days off.

"It's worth the hard work, it's worth the sacrifices. In those moments it shows that this is why I do what I do," said the sprinter, who earned the title of fastest woman in the world when she set a record time and placed first in the 100-meter race at the World Track and Field Championships in Budapest, Hungary, in August 2023.

Richardson also alluded to past challenges in the video, subtly referencing the fact she was not allowed to compete in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after testing positive for marijuana.

Richardson agreed. "I feel like the fun is gonna be restored," she said.
