The Captain is back: Aaron Judge returns to Yankees lineup for first time in 10 days

The Captain is back.

Aaron Judge is returning to the New York Yankees' lineup for Wednesday's exhibition game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. First pitch is 6:35 p.m.

It marks the first time since March 10 that Judge will be playing in a game. He's been out of action due to a core soreness issue that led to an MRI on his abs. Those tests came back clean.

“The main goal is to be game ready for Opening Day, so I’m just going to work towards that,’’ Judge said Friday at Steinbrenner Field.

Judge will be batting third behind leadoff hitter Gleyber Torres and slugger Juan Soto. Here's the Yankees lineup:
