Candace Cameron Bure and Danica McKeller Jumped on GAC Family’s Huge Instagram News

As GAC Family continues to expand its roster of talent and titles, the network also has plans to help new fans keep up to date.
Recently, Variety broke the news that the up-and-coming TV network is launching a free app called Great American Community on September 26. According to the outlet, GAC plans to debut “15 original short-form series” on launch day with multiple episodes premiering. After that, GAC viewers can expect to see new content throughout the year “with no offseason.”
According to Great American Media president and CEO Bill Abbott, the new app will bring fans closer to their favorite actors and actresses, including Candace Cameron Bure, Danica McKellar, Trevor Donovan and more.
“We are thrilled to be launching Great American Community with 15 new, always-on series that are topical, relatable and hosted by our growing family of recognizable talent. This new platform represents an important evolution of the company’s digital strategy and gives our passionate fans a fun and engaging new way to interact with our stars in a trusted, family-friendly environment, 365 days a year,” he said in a statement, per Variety.
Reacting to the network's latest news, Candace wrote in the comments section, "Whoo Hoo!!!!!!! 🙌." Danica added, "It's been so much fun working on this!! 🤗." Emily Hutchinson exclaimed, "I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve been working hard on 😍😍😍."
But even before the official announcement, GAC Family was hinting at the creation of an app for fans. In an August 13 Instagram post, the network celebrated the premiere of the movie Retreat to Paradise. While GAC encouraged fans to tune in for an encore, some pointed out that it wasn’t easy figuring out how.
“Y’all need an app that lists all the movies and premiere dates on it... that would be huge and helpful just saying...,” one person wrote in the comments section. Shortly after, the official GAC Family Instagram replied with a teaser of what was on the way. “We have a future vision for an app, stay tuned!” the response read. “In the meantime, you can view our schedule on our website. https://www.gacfamily.com/schedule/.”
In case you’re still trying to figure out how to watch and stream GAC Family, there are several ways to tune in. Several cable TV providers offer the channel, including Cox, DirectTV, Dish, Frontier and Spectrum. Streaming users can also find the channel on Hulu Live TV, Frndly TV, Fubo TV, Philo and Sling TV.
But GAC Family’s news doesn’t stop there. After the highly anticipated launch, fans can look forward to Great American Christmas arriving right before Halloween.
