Canal Winchester residents to make fleece tie-blankets for the holidays

All residents of Canal Winchester are invited to make fleece tie-blankets for the Canal Winchester Human Services Adopt-a-Family Program for the holidays. The blankets will be made from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at BrewDog DogTap Columbus, 96 Gender Road.

This event is a fun and simple networking night-- you don't have to be crafty or know how to sew. Grab a drink and use the provided templates to cut and tie a beautiful fleece blanket for a family in need.

Additional blanket kits may be purchased if someone would like to make more than one. Donate or sponsor a blanket for CW Human Services' Adopt a Family program. All blanket kits will be made on-site the day of, and donated to Canal Winchester Human Services Holiday program.

The cost is $15 per blanket kit and includes one no-sew blanket kit and supplies. For more information, go to canalwinchester.com.
