New 'Law & Order' Spinoff Reveals Its Cast

Law & Order fans, get ready: Citytv has announced the cast of the upcoming Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent—and shared the very first photo of the ensemble.

The 10-episode series will follow the same format as previous iterations of the long-running franchise, this time with a team of Toronto-based investigators focusing on "high-profile crime and corruption" in the city. So who will play our top-notch detectives?

The cast includes Aden Young (Rectify) as Detective Sergeant Henry Graff, Kathleen Munroe (FBI, L&O: Organized Crime) as Detective Sergeant Frankie Bateman, Karen Robinson (A Million Little Things) as Inspector Vivienne Holness and K.C. Collins (The Cleaning Lady) as Deputy Crown Attorney Theo Forrester. Other players include Nicola Correia-Damude as Dr. Lucy Da Silva and Araya Mengesha as Mark Yohannes.

Citytv announced the upcoming series in June 2023. "The timeless appeal of the cases explored in the globally successful Law & Order franchise continue to draw in Citytv audiences week after week," Hayden Mindell, Senior Vice President, Television, Rogers Sports & Media, said in the release.

"We’re thrilled to be in partnership with Lark Productions and Cameron Pictures Inc., to bring Canadian stories to this iconic format," he added.

Erin Haskett, the President and Executive Producer, Lark Productions, chimed in, "Our team is excited for the unique opportunity to produce a distinctly Canadian version of Criminal Intent in partnership with Cameron Pictures. We have been collaborating with Rogers Sports & Media since early last year and are thrilled to share the original vision of the adaptation with audiences."

Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent is expected to debut in Spring 2024.
