Queen Camilla's family will be front and center during today's coronation service—and that includes her ex-husband, Andrew Parker Bowles. It only makes sense that he would be in attendance, as three of his grandchildren will have starring roles in the ceremony.

His grandsons, Louis and Gus Lopes (the 13-year-old sons of Andrew and Camilla's daughter Laura), and Freddy Parker Bowles (the 13-year-old son of their son, Tom Parker Bowles), will all serve as Queen Camilla's Pages of Honor today. Perhaps he gave them some tips; Andrew served as a page at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth in 1953.

(While Louis and Gus are twins, viewers will be able to tell them apart during today's ceremony, as Gus recently broke his arm.)

It was important to Queen Camilla that today's festivities include people who know and love her. "She is fiercely loyal to friends and that will be reflected in who goes to the big day. She wants to be loyal to the people who’ve stood by her," her close friend, Lady Lansdowne, told the Sunday Times.

And while Andrew and Camilla divorced in 1995, and they both went on to marry other people, the former couple has remained cordial, and Andrew is on good terms with many members of the royal family—especially Princess Anne. His relationship with Windsors is so close that he sometimes represents them at official events. In October 2022, he formally represented Queen Camilla at a funeral for John Bowes-Lyon, and in the past, he has represented Princess Anne on at least five different occasions, according to the Court Circular.
