Camila Morrone’s Latest Street-Style Look Goes Back to the Basics

Despite all the quirky trend-chasing, maximalism, and shimmer going on in fashion these days, Camila Morrone is staying true to her timeless style.
The model stepped out in New York City on Tuesday, repping an effortlessly sophisticated look that included four classic staples.
The base consisted of a super-cropped black ribbed tank and a light-wash blue denim maxi skirt. Over the top, she layered a sleek, breezy black trench coat, which she cinched around her waist with a matching belt.
Morrone finished the cool look with simple black strappy sandals and a matching black pedicure. She accessorized with gold hoop earrings, her hair was styled in natural waves, and she wore minimal makeup.
Morrone seemed to be in the middle of a photo shoot when she was spotted in the look. Earlier in the day, she was seen in the same area in TriBeCa wearing a fuzzy black bathrobe and white slippers.
The outing came just two days before the model and actor announced a big new fashion opportunity. Today, October 19, sustainable jeweler Brilliant Earth launched its Sol Collection with Morrone as the first-ever face of the brand. The new eight-piece collection celebrates the power of the sun and incorporates solar symbolism in its designs. It includes fine diamond-encrusted bracelets and rings positioned to become instant heirlooms.
