Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden announce birth of second child and share name
Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden have announced the birth of their second child together, and revealed the name they've chosen.
The Shrek and Charlie's Angels actress and the Good Charlotte guitarist tied the knot in 2015 and welcomed a daughter named Raddix together four years later. Now, in an Instagram post, the couple shared the news about their son, Cardinal.

"We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our Son, Cardinal Madden," they wrote, alongside a drawing. "He is awesome and we are all so happy he is here!
"For the kids safety and privacy we won’t be posting any pictures – but he’s a really cute. We are feeling so blessed and grateful. Sending much love from our fam to yours. Best wishes and Good Afternoon!!"
Diaz went on a hiatus from acting in the 2010s, but has recently returned to the profession. She's already shot a Netflix film called Back in Action, alongside her Annie co-star Jamie Foxx, which is due out this year.
Back in December, she defended Foxx against reports that he was badly behaved on set and caused production delays.
"Jamie is the best. I love that guy so much. He's such a special person, and he's so talented, so much fun," Diaz said. "We have so much fun on the set with him, and he's just a professional on every level. I really hate all of the things that were being said about our set...
"The hiccups that happened throughout production are the natural kinds of things that happen."
Earlier this month, she was confirmed to be joining Keanu Reeves, Matt Bomer, and Jonah Hill in Outcome, a dark comedy Hill is directing for Apple.
The film will star Reeves as a "damaged" Hollywood star who is extorted by someone using a mysterious video clip, and he must delve into his past and confront his demons in order to make amends.
