It's official, Hallmark fans: We're heading back to Hope Valley very soon!
Just a few months after When Calls the Heart aired its season 10 finale, the hit drama shocked fans with an announcement about the show's upcoming installment. In an exclusive reveal made by Entertainment Tonight, the outlet announced When Calls the Heart season 11 will premiere 12 new episodes starting Sunday, April 7 at 9 p.m. ET on Hallmark.
And if that's not enough, the show's star and executive producer Erin Krakow shared the news with a brand-new poster featuring her and co-star Kevin McGarry.
"Season 11 poster & premiere date hard launch! 😏💕," she wrote on Instagram on January 23. "Thank you @deidrebehar & @entertainmenttonight for bringing us the exclusive news! Link in bio for more details!"
Upon seeing Erin's announcement, it didn't take long for fans to rush to the comments with words of excitement.
"So thrilled for this! Can’t wait! 🥰," one person wrote on Instagram. "I love it!!! I cannot wait! Season 11 is going to be fantastic! 😍❤️," another agreed. "I am so excited to see what's in store for Nathan and Elizabeth!! 😍❤️," a different viewer added.

As for what fans can expect from the latest installment of When Calls the Heart, according to Entertainment Tonight, season 11 will pick up where season 10 left us. As Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) deals with new responsibilities as an elected governor of Hope Valley, Elizabeth Thatcher Thornton (Erin) must resolve her growing feelings for Nathan Grant (Kevin). What's more, Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) and Rosemary Coulter (Pascale Hutton) join together to help figure out a mystery that could put all the residents of Hope Valley at risk.
"Time has flown by since the end of season 10, and I cannot put into words how thrilled I am for the premiere of season 11 of When Calls the Heart," Erin said in an official statement.
