California State Fair adds more headliners to free concert series. See who’s coming and when

The California State Fair announced more headliners for its 2024 free concert series.

On Monday, organizers revealed that Tone Loc, C&C Music Factory and Digital Underground are coming to the fair on Friday, July 19 for a 1990s hip hop, rap and R&B rewind.

The fair will host the Toyota Concert Series at Cal Expo in Sacramento from July 12 to July 28.

There are a total of 17 concerts in store, with more headliners to be announced as the fair’s opening day nears.

Tone Loc, C&C Music Factory and Digital Underground join other big names in the lineup, including Flo Rida, Lukas Nelson, The Beach Boys and Chris Young.

Who’s playing in California State Fair concert series?

So far, the lineup for the 2024 California Mid-State Fair includes:

  • Sunday, July 14 — Cole Swindell

  • Monday, July 15 — Queen Nation

  • Thursday, July 18 — Chris Young

  • Friday, July 19 — Digital Underground, Tone Loc and C&C Music Factory

  • Tuesday, July 23 — Flo Rida

  • Wednesday, July 24 — Bush

  • Thursday, July 25 — Lukas Nelson

  • Friday, July 26 — The Beach Boys

  • Sunday, July 28 — UB40 featuring Ali Campbell

How to catch a concert at the fair

The concerts are free with fair admission.

How much do tickets cost?

You can buy tickets to the California State Fair online.

Early bird tickets cost $14, or $10 for seniors 62 years and older and $8 for kids 5 to 12 years old.

Children 4 and under are free.

Regular prices for adults are $16, seniors are $12 and kids 5 to 12 years are $10. As of Monday, the fair website does not note when regular prices kick in.

Can I reserve a seat?

Reserved seats for the Toyota Concert Series cost $25 online.
