Burger King Is Giving Away Free Whoppers, Birthday Pie Slices and More After You Spend 70 Cents

70 cents will go a long way at Burger King.

The fast food chain is celebrating 70 years of Whoppers by giving customers freebies when they spend $0.70. Daily deals are available for BK rewards members from May 28 through June 3 and every day brings a new free item.

Prices vary by location but generally, condiments will be the lowest-price item to get you to the $0.70 minimum. Three sauces should get you there — or a small milk is the second cheapest Burger King menu item.

The seven days of discounts kick off on Tuesday, May 28, which also happens to be National Hamburger Day. Fittingly, Burger King is offering fans a free hamburger with a purchase of $0.70 or more.

The following day, May 29, customers can grab a free croissan’wich (Burger King’s croissant breakfast sandwich) when they spend at least $0.70.

Thursday, May 30, brings a free medium soft drink with any $0.70 purchase and on May 31, BK guests will have another reason to say TGIF when they spend $0.70 and score a free cheeseburger.

June 1 is Burger King’s official 70th birthday so the brand is celebrating with a limited-time birthday treat. Customers who spend $0.70 can honor the momentous occasion with a free Birthday Pie Slice. The sweet, which combines birthday cake-flavored filling and a cookie crumb crust, will be available starting May 16 but only free on June 1.

Customers get a lot of bang for their $0.70 on June 2 and June 3 when they can grab a free crispy chicken sandwich on Sunday or Whopper Jr. on Monday.

The celebratory discounts will be available at the end of the month when ordering via the BK app.

Subway is currently offering free 12-inch sandwiches as part of a buy one get one free offer through May 13.

The BOGO is available on the Subway app or online with the promo code “FLBOGO.” Fans are limited to one free sandwich per order, but the discount will reset every day until May 13.
