So what exactly will you get in Bugsnax: The Card Game, and how do you play it? It’s simple - you play as your favorite Grumpus (Eggabell and Lizbert included) and use abilities to capture Bugsnax. Played between two to six players, the first player to eat six points of Bugsnax wins the game.

You can play the game in two modes - Standard and Advanced. The game includes over 13 Grumpuses and 40 Bugsnax to support a variety of play styles, with standard poker-size cards.

Each copy of Bugsnax TCG will include the following:

Young Horses states that a standard game will take around 20 to 30 minutes, and advanced games will take closer to an hour to finish. Players will have three actions available on their turn - Play, Draw, or Eat. These actions can also be stacked. Every time you eat a Bugsnax, you draw a Grampus card with unique abilities based on its personality.

The game will start shipping later this year for pledgers in the U.S. followed by international orders.
