Buffalo Bills schedule 2024: Here's who the AFC East champs will play

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - Because they have won the AFC East for a fourth consecutive season, the Buffalo Bills will once again be confronted with a challenging first-place schedule in 2024.

Once their 21-14 victory over the Miami Dolphins was complete Sunday night, the final three opponents on the schedule were finalized - all games against fellow first-place teams.

Those three feature road games at NFC North champ Detroit and AFC North champ Baltimore, and a home game - yes, believe it or not, a home game - against the Kansas City Chiefs. Let me repeat that for effect: Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will have to travel to Highmark Stadium, and this time, barring another COVID outbreak, there will be not an empty venue but 70,000 members of Bills Mafia on hand.

The other 14 games were already set.

In addition to the home-and-home series the Bills play against their AFC East brethren Dolphins, Patriots and Jets, they are also playing all four teams in the AFC South and NFC West next season.

At home the Bills will play the Dolphins, Patriots, Jets, Jaguars, Titans, Chiefs, Cardinals and 49ers.

On the road, the Bills have nine games because 2024 is a year when NFC teams get to play nine at home. Those games will be against the Dolphins, Patriots, Jets, Texans, Colts, Ravens, Lions, Rams and Seahawks.
