The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been without wide receiver Antonio Brown since he sprained his left ankle against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6.

There was originally some hope that Brown would be able to return this Sunday coming off the team’s bye week, but more and more evidence is indicating that is unlikely to happen. First, on Monday, Bucs head coach Bruce Arians revealed that Brown is still in a walking boot.

Then, when Tampa Bay convened for practice today, Brown was not present during the open media portion, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.

If Brown doesn’t play against the Washington Football Team this weekend, it will be the third-straight game he has missed.

Physical therapist and fantasy football contributor Matthew Betz shared on Twitter today that Brown could still be “multiple weeks away” based off a video of him rehabbing last week.

Prior to his injury, Brown caught 29 passes for 418 yards and four touchdowns in six games.

Tampa Bay (6-2) will play at Washington this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
