BTS's RM has reassured fans, confirming the band will be back from their "temporary hiatus" in 2025.

The K-pop group – made up of RM, Suga, Jin, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook – announced they would take a break to focus on their solo endeavours in June 2022.

Last week, RM hosted a livestream on community platform Weverse, talking about the band's future and addressing their fanbase, known as ARMY, to let them know BTS will definitely team up again.

In the clip, RM talked about having spoken to fellow BTS member Suga about the latter's world tour.

"He told me that there were a great number of ARMY across the globe wanting the seven of us to reunite and perform again," RM said (via SBS Star).

RM explained he's also working on his solo career and that focusing on personal projects is essential to "come back as a whole".

"But as I'm working on my solo project, I keep thinking this way: 'This is like a vacation,'" he said.

"What I mean by that is that it's a kind of vacation that we, BTS and ARMY, need to take to successfully come back as a whole.

"So, I believe all our solo activities are important trips for our next chapter, and they're also trips which we must go on in order to safely come back home," he said.

He finally added that the band "[will] be back for sure," giving an indication as to when fans could expect that to happen.

"We'll be joining together again. And that will be in 2025," he said.
