Bryan Park, Mills Pool, IU, Edgewood public pools open for Memorial Day weekend

School’s officially out for the summer, and it’s getting hot in southern Indiana.

Luckily, Bloomington has plenty of pools and bodies of water to cool you off, and a lot of them open this weekend. Lake Monroe’s public beaches will unfortunately be closed for Memorial Day weekend. Recent rainfall has resulted in high water levels.

Still, there’s plenty of places to take a dip to beat the heat. Here’s what you need to know about Bloomington’s favorite swimming spots.
