Mother’s Day is May 12, celebrating all of the moms and mom-figures in our lives.

There are so many ways to say thank you, or to show the people we care about how much they mean to us.

One of the best ways to do that is sharing a meal with the people we love.

This Mother’s Day, restaurants around the Fall River area are offering up curated menus, brunch, and even some extra special treats.

Here’s where you can gather together to celebrate Mother’s Day:

Venus de Milo, Swansea

Address: 75 Grand Army of the Republic Highway

There will be a Mother’s Day afternoon dinner at the Venus de Milo Restaurant. Treat the mothers and mother-figures in your life to mimosas and a meal. The menu includes prime rib, smoked ham, seafood Newburg, baked scrod, chicken a la vodka, pasta San Marzano with beef, Delmonico potatoes, butternut squash, vegetables, seasonal and garden salads, and desserts.

Tickets are $54 for adults and $25 for children. A 20% gratuity and 7% tax will be automatically applied. Groups will be seated at one table; one check is allowed per table.

There will be limited seatings: noon, 12:30, 2, 2:30, 3, and 3:30 p.m.

The cancellation deadline is May 7, after which there will be no refunds.

The Brewhouse District, Fall River

The Brewhouse District is hosting a charcuterie workshop with Style & Graze Co. on Wednesday, May 8, at 6 p.m.

The Cove Restaurant, Fall River

Make your reservations for May 12 at The Cove.

They’ll be serving a limited menu from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Mother’s Day menu includes:

Appetizers like Portuguese mussels, served in a spicy tomato broth with banana peppers onions and linguiça, served with toast points. Lobster rangoons, with crab, lobster, cream cheese and vegetable stuffing, served with orange ginger marmalade sauce.

Soups, salads, and a raw bar.

Entrees like prime rib, chicken parmesan, baked stuffed shrimp, fish and chips, and blackened salmon.

Lobster rolls, baked stuffed lobster, and boiled lobster.

Items may be requested gluten free.

They’ll also have a children’s menu available.

Independence Harbor, Assonet

Independence Harbor is hosting a Mother’s Day Sunday brunch buffet.

They’ll have a prime rib carving station, with au jus and horseradish cream sauces.

The brunch buffet menu also includes:

Herb-roasted turkey with mushroom gravy, chicken piccata, scallop and shrimp scampi, baked penne with meatballs and sweet Italian sausage, scrambled eggs, deep-fried apple-filled French toast, red bliss potatoes, sausage, eggs Benedict, and maple-glazed baby carrots.

There will also be fresh fruit and salad buffets, as well as pastry and dessert buffets.

Seatings will be from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Proper dress and reservations are required.

Tickets are $42 for adults, $28.50 for children under 10, and children under 3 eat for free.

A 20% server gratuity will be added for all parties.

The Galley Grille at White’s of Westport

The Galley Grille will begin seating at 1 p.m. on Mother’s Day, with the last seating at 5 p.m.

Their Mother’s Day menu features soups and starters, as well as a la carte entrees.

Soups and starters include New England clam chowder, chicken and rice soup, garlic shrimp, bone-in wings, crispy calamari, and Mediterranean portobello mushrooms, stuffed with feta, spinach, olives, roasted red pepper, and artichoke.

Entrees include baked stuffed sole, seafood casserole, salmon, chicken, roast turkey, bacon-wrapped filet mignon, and prime rib.

They’ll also have lobster options, as well as a children’s menu.

Brunch at White’s of Westport

White’s of Westport is hosting a Mother’s Day Grand Brunch Buffet on Sunday, May 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Grand Brunch Buffet includes a cheese and cracker display, a salad station, smoked salmon platter, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, Brussels sprouts, chicken Mozambique, seafood Newburg, spinach and roasted garlic tortelloni, fried chicken, and more.

There will be a honey-baked ham and prime rib carving station, as well as a Belgian waffle station.

Plus, pastries, desserts, coffee, tea, wine, champagne, make-your-own mimosas, and a Bloody Mary station.

Parties of any size are welcome.

The cost is $45 for adults, and $17 for children 10 and under. Gratuity is not included in the price.

The Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet will be held on Sunday, May 12, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Enjoy ham, prime rib, strawberry jalapeño chicken, seafood Mozambique, pulled pork, haddock, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, and green beans.

There will also be Belgian waffle and farmhouse salad stations, as well as smoked salmon.

Plus, assorted pastries and desserts, coffee, and tea.

The cost is $49 for adults, and $17 for children 12 and under.

Lees Market will be hosting a Mother’s Day cake decorating event on Saturday, May 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

They’ll have frosted, single-layer cakes available to customize with icing, sprinkles, and decorations.

The cost is $14.99 per child.
