Browns Releasing Jarvis Landry: NFL World Reacts
The Cleveland Browns have officially released Jarvis Landry after he requested a trade.
Cleveland wasn’t able to get anything back for him it looks like, so Landry will be hitting the open market to find his new home. This news comes just a couple of days after the Browns traded for Amari Cooper.

Landry’s cap number was $16.3M for next season, which also likely rubbed the Browns the wrong way.
The NFL world isn’t surprised about this news. Some fans are also wanting their respective teams to go after him.

It’s a bummer things ended so poorly for the LSU duo here. But the experience with Landry was tremendous. Juice had a huge hand in the turnaround here and always had a great positivity. He’s always gonna be looked at as a bright spot from his time here. Wish him the best. https://t.co/YOG2ErLCX3

Jarvis was one hell of an acquisition. Terrific player with a lot of good football left. Really sad to see him good. https://t.co/mc0BzTnQAk

Jarvis Landry would be a perfect #2 type in Atlanta if he’ll take a Mohamed Sanu 2016 type deal. https://t.co/PbhlJ1mcIZ

Landry spent four seasons with the Browns and is coming off a season where he had 570 yards and two touchdowns on 52 receptions.
His 570 yards were the fewest yards he’s had in his career. His best season in Cleveland came in 2019 when he had 1,174 yards and six touchdowns on 83 receptions.
He’s going to have numerous teams interested in him since he’s still one of the better receivers on the market.
