The Cleveland Browns drafted Michigan guard Zak Zinter with the 85th overall pick of the NFL draft. Here is a look at the newest Brown.

Zinter went to the University of Michigan. He has maintained a GPA of 3.53 while earning a sport management degree last December.

Zak Zinter injury

Zinter broke his leg in Michigan's win over Ohio State last season. He broke his tibia and fibula in the game Nov. 25, 2023. He is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.

Zak Zinter stats, highlights

Started 42 games during his career with the Wolverines, helping them reach the College Football Playoff each of the last two seasons, including winning the national title last season. Zinter was a first-team Associated Press All-American last season. He earned first-team All-Big Ten honors in 2022 and 2023 and was honorable mention in 2021. According to NFL.com, Zinter enters the league with NFL size, toughness and technique who should be a starter.
