Brooke Shields' Daughter Towers Over Her Mom in Sweet Joint Appearance

Brooke Shields has definitely passed down her stunning genes to her two daughters.

The actress and mom of two recently stepped out with her younger daughter, 17-year-old Grier Hammond Henchy, who made it abundantly clear that Shields' beauty runs in the family.

In photos from the 2024 TriBeCa Ball at the New York Academy of Art on Monday, April 1, Grier was practically towering over her famous mom as the duo wrapped their arms around one another and posed for the cameras.

Brooke, 58, was dressed in a sophisticated ensemble for the evening, donning a one-shoulder black gown with a thick pink border at the neckline that blended into a long sleeve on one arm only. She accessorized the look with a gold purse, sparkly hoop earrings and a stylish pair of eyeglasses for a little extra flair.

For her part, Grier rocked a plunging black and white graphic blazer and matching pants, which she paired with black pointed-toe pumps. The teen also carried a unique box-like purse to complete her edgy 'fit, while her dark red hair was styled to look straight and sleek.

Brooke looked overjoyed to have her youngest girl by her side for the mother-daughter outing, as the Blue Lagoon star sweetly leaned over to hug Grier for a few of the snaps.

Brooke shares Grier with longtime husband Chris Henchy, whom she married in 2001. The pair are also parents to firstborn daughter, Rowan Francis Henchy, 20.

Grier has been following in her mom's modeling footsteps in recent years, despite Brooke initially having some reservations about her daughter entering the same industry she had to navigate as a young girl.

The Pretty Baby star eventually gave in to Grier's wishes, but only under a series of conditions, including the stipulation that she would not be managed by Brooke herself, and that she would instead be represented by an official modeling agency. Plus, her mom wanted her to still enroll in college.

"The rules have changed since I was [a model]," Brooke previously explained on Live with Kelly and Mark in June 2023, adding, "It’s such a different industry now than it was."

Grier is now signed to IMG Models.
