New Brighton's new wine & liquor store opens

NEW BRIGHTON ― The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board has opened a new Fine Wine & Good Spirits store at 400 Ninth St. in the borough.

With almost 1,900 square feet of retail space, this store features more than 1,200 wines and spirits – about 250 more products than were available at the former Third Avenue location, a PLCB press release said.

Promising a "warm, welcoming atmosphere for consumers to browse the extensive selection," the store includes a “Made in Pennsylvania” section to highlight wines and spirits produced in the commonwealth. Also, the New Brighton store features Pennsylvania Lottery ticket sales, the PLCB said.

Store hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays. The store phone number is 724-459-0152.
