Brightline expands with Aventura station near the mall. What to know about the train
Brightline has expanded to Aventura and Boca Raton. The two new train stations join other stops in West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and downtown Miami.
The new Aventura station is across from the popular mall. The stop allows riders to go to and from downtown Miami in 15 minutes.

Here’s what to know about the new stops:
The new stations
New stations in Aventura and Boca Raton are open. But not everything went according to plan the first day.
A Brightline official told the Miami Herald that all trains to and from Aventura were canceled on Wednesday because of issues with elevator permits, which should be resolved in “short order.” As of Thursday afternoon, the Aventura trains to and from Aventura are canceled.
“We’re making some finishing touches to the station,” Brightline wrote on Twitter. “We’ll be up and running asap...”
How much is a ticket from Miami?
One-way tickets from Miami to Aventura range from $6.50 to $54. Tickets to Boca Raton range from $12.50 to $64.

When do the trains run?
Trains from Miami to Aventura usually run from 8:45 a.m. to 11:45 p.m., with some variation through the week. Brightline will also be running on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Trains can run hourly during peak times and once every couple of hours during non-peak times.

How long will a train trip take from Aventura?
Here are the estimated travel times from Aventura to Brightline’s other stations:
▪ West Palm Beach — 56 minutes
▪ Fort Lauderdale — 14 minutes
▪ Downtown Miami — 15 minutes
▪ Boca Raton — 32 minutes
Can I park at the Aventura station?
The Aventura station has 240 parking spaces and a bus drop-off for Miami-Dade Transit riders. But parking spaces aren’t free.
If you pay in advance, parking will cost $5. Waiting until you get to the lot could cost you up to $12.
Parking rates are the same as at Brightline’s Miami station.
Where is the Aventura station?
▪ The new Aventura station is at 19796 West Dixie Hwy., just to the west of Biscayne Boulevard (U.S. 1).
▪ The station is just west of the Aventura Mall, which is on the east side of U.S. 1, across six lanes of traffic.
▪ Other places of interest near the station include Aventura Hospital and Gulfstream Park, which has a casino and a shopping and restaurant complex on the Aventura-Hallandale Beach border.
Where is the Boca Raton station?
▪ The Boca station is at 101 NW Fourth St.
▪ Nearby attractions include the Mizner Park shopping and restaurant district.
Is Brightline+ available at the Aventura station?
Brightline+ is a service that takes you from the station to desirable destinations. It includes private rides in a Tesla, a van or bus, or a bike rental.
The Aventura station will have a mall shuttle that runs for 14 hours each day. Adjustments will be made on demand.
Brightline previously said it was working with popular businesses and cities to establish these routes to locations like Hallandale Beach and Hard Rock Stadium.
