As Blue Bloods fans reel from the news that the show is set to end after season 14, two of the show's stars, Bridget Moynahan and Tom Selleck, gave them something to smile about as they shared a sweet selfie together.

Moynahan posted the special photo on Instagram on May 8 in celebration of Selleck's new memoir, You Never Know, which officially came out on May 7. In the photo, Selleck had his arm around Moynahan as the two smiled brightly at the camera.

"A great conversation last night @92ndstreety with the iconic #TomSelleck about his life and journey!" Moynahan wrote in the caption. In support of Selleck's new book, the actress took part in "Tom Selleck in Conversation with Bridget Moynahan," an enlightening discussion between the two hosted at the 92nd Street Y. She also shared a photo of the two actors on stage together at the event.

Many fans joined Moynahan in praising Selleck, with people calling him "iconic," "legendary," "a treasure" and more in the comments.

"Two of my favorites. Such classy people!😊," complimented a fan of both actors, while another chimed in, "Two individuals I love & don’t even know! Lol I believe both of you are kind, compassionate, humble & full of grace."

There were also plenty of people talking about Moynahan and Selleck's beloved crime drama, Blue Bloods, which unfortunately got canceled recently by CBS. Fans shared their hope that the network would change its mind, and Selleck, who plays patriarch Frank Reagan opposite Moynahan's Erin Reagan, feels the same way.

In a recent interview with CBS News, Selleck said, “I will continue to think that CBS will come to their senses," before considering how successful the show has been as he declared, "We’re the third-highest scripted show in all of broadcast. We’re winning the night. All the cast wants to come back. And I can tell you this: we aren’t sliding off down a cliff. We’re doing good shows, and still holding our place."

Blue Bloods premiered in 2010 and quickly became a fan-favorite show, with a stellar cast that also includes Donnie Wahlberg, Will Estes, Marisa Ramirez and more.
