Bridget Moynahan Posted the Best Throwback Photo in Honor of Donnie Wahlberg's Birthday
Happy birthday, Donnie Wahlberg! The Blue Bloods star and New Kids on the Block singer turned 54 on August 17, and his friends, family, and fans flooded him with congratulatory messages.
Our favorite post came from Donnie's Blue Bloods co-star (and on-screen sister) Bridget Moynahan. The actress, who stars as Erin Reagan on the CBS drama, shared a throwback photo of her and Donnie with big smiles on their faces.
Bridget captioned the post, "This. All day long. Happy Birthday Brotha D! @donniewahlberg." Donnie replied in the comments with a red heart emoji. Fans left comments like, "Very cool picture, best family and show on television. I can’t wait for the upcoming season" and "I love this picture of you both. Happy birthday Donnie.🎉🎂💕"
Donnie's wife, Jenny McCarthy, perhaps put it best with her birthday post for her husband of 8 years. She posted a sweet compilation video of Donnie and asked, "Does anyone else think @donniewahlberg’s bday should be a national holiday? The amount of light and love he radiates makes me and all the people he touches the luckiest people in the world. I absolutely adore you and wish you the best happy birthday as we sail away into our younger years together. I love you."
Donnie and Bridget are on hiatus from filming season 14 of Blue Bloods as the writers' and actors' strikes continue. CBS will be airing classic episodes in the typical Friday night time slot in the fall.
